Caroline Redl, growing up in a family of actors and artists, started performing in the theatre at a young age.\u00a0Since studying acting and film in London, Paris and New York, Caroline has appeared in a variety of films and TV dramas over the last 30 years.\u00a0She debuted her career in screen acting with the British production of \u201eMaschenka\u201c, performing alongside Irina Brook and Cary Elwes.<\/p>\n

Caroline won the Berner Filmpreis as Best Actress for her leading performance in \u201eRund um die Liebe\u201c and a nomination for \u201eL\u2019espoire du Demain\u201c, Festival Geneve. She played the second lead in the drama \u201eAusgerechnet Zoe,\u201c that won the Grimme Award for \u201cBest Ensemble\u201d. She is experienced working with various international productions in Switzerland, England, Italy and France. Caroline’s film credits include the prize winning production \u201eClando\u201c by Jean Marie Teno, the Swiss film \u201eKinder der Landstrasse\u201d by Urs Egger, as well as \u201eWer Angst Wolf\u201c by Clemens Klopfenstein, and the renowned BBC Series \u201eEast Enders\u201c.<\/p>\n
